how do you colour like that? i have my own way of colouring but ive noticed the better drawings are coloured in the same style as yours you know, the colouring in mine are blended (like that boring soaps pic i coloured for you) but it makes it look more professional when you do it like that :3

If you use GIMP, then doing this is particularly easy. I used the paths tool for every single line here. First, I outline it, and then I go over it with the paths tool. The paths tool allows me to make the smoothe-curved lines. And then I use color with other layers below and above it. Though, most of the color here is below the outlines. It really is much more simple to do than it looks, which is why I always believe there is room for improvement.

ohh lol all i do is i add another layer, put it on multiply then paint over the drawing then use the burn/dodge tool to create shadow and light but it looks reeeaaaaallly messy so i smudge it :3 lol

I actually do not know how to use the burn/dodge tool. Nor am I familuar with the layer styles. Just about every drawing leads to a new skill you might say...
