As always, your sense of derision makes the characters adorable and I really enjoy how they seem to naturally come to life. And the way you treat your passionate characters (whatever it can be, from BDSM to videogame or even metal) shows some care and a really human tenderness.
I hope that your talented wife is taking a look at your artwork, not like mine, who doesn't even glance at my -indeed amateur- work. Sigeel seems to play with the reference to Sunstone and Mercy in her last published draft!

I just wanted to say how much this story helped me. Lisa, Anne and Alan are the characters I relate to the most. They're all fragments of my personalty and experiences. But I really latched onto Anne when I first read Sunstone.Β
I really relate to Anne for a lot of reasons. We're both Bi. We both discovered it in college, and we both realized we were into BDSM and tattoos at the same time. It was part of the reason I was drawn to Sunstone. I thought I was 100% a Lisa, but turns out I'm a Lisa/Anne, in that I'm a writer, a reader, and I started out my forays into BDSM through BDSM fanfiction, as well as Sunstone itself. It's so amazing to see your story continue to grow and I'm always plugging it to people who think they might be into BDSM.
I cannot wait to see this story unfold and connect to the other characters from Sunstone, as Sarah and the girl with black and white hair both made cameos in Sunstone.Β

Well, as I Begin typing this out we're thirty minutes from 1965's "The Agony and the Ecstasy". So the fact that I absolutely love the story/art is besides the point here. But, I like the rough look, I like it more than the polished supper real look, which led me to actually enjoy the look of the rougher online version more than the print. This could be down to the fact that I'm just used the rougher style, or perhaps with leaving the roughens there, our minds fill in the gaps, turning it into the perfect version unique to every one of us.Β

I've loved this comic for a while now and I think it's jumped up in quality over the last year or so. The story and art was always excellent, far beyond your average online free to read indie title, however I think the last 10 updates or so have been better than ever.
I honestly mean this as a compliment. Sunstone/Mercy just keeps getting better.
