i've never seen a white horse with dark hair; very pretty! :]

When grey horses are young they start off black or dark bay, then it fades to a steel grey, which then fades to dapple grey, and then the dapples start fading along with the mane and tail and legs (which were black up to this point) until eventually the horse's fur and hair goes all white (but tis still called a grey horse). This horse is about 8/9 years old. Over the few years I've known him, he's lost a lot of his dapples already. He'll be all white when he's older, or he could wind up fleabitten. Only time will tell.
