Yes, that is correct !
My idea was to open up as much as possible, therefore adding much glass to the walls and roof (almost blown away on the kitchen side hehe), theres a higher connection with nature if you can look out at the landscape without feeling trapped. Only negative aspect is the energy question, this would only be solved if the house were placed in a climate with equal temperatures around the year.

Yes, the ideas behind housing of any kind, can be met with different challenges and climate is a huge factor. Designing a house that's suitable for every season would mean compromising certain elements.
