Description the dandelion clock spins slowly, gracefully, its
seeds reminding me of the future.

my soul was carried off upon one of its seeds
and planted somewhere unnameable.

i found myself crawling through the frame of a
grayscale photograph, watching as sepia
memories slowly faded off into an outside world,
unnoticed, wrinkled... sepia.

please don't paint me, my black-and-white world is
all i need.

i really love this, it's very simple, but expressive.
i wish i could say anything as good as this in so few words.

as you can see, even this comment is demonstrating that i can't.

i paused, i breathed, i listened to the rhythm as i read this. i love the whole nihilistic feel-- this piece is just gorgeousgorgeousgorgeous. i really adore the imagery and your beautiful thoughts. and i think the final line is particularly striking. i want to keep these words with me for awhile.

(and being lost in shades of gray is over- and under-whelming, but true and honest)

lovely piece. <3

you really think so? thank you.
that means a lot to me, because this
is actually the first poem i've ever
written.

thank you again and again, ellie.

It's a very interesting (for lack of a better term) experience we have once we start to perceive the world like this, in shades of gray. Things don't look the same afterwards~

they don't. they end up all blended into
one. the same color. the same things. the
beginning of indifference.
