ok, you frame the picture, so you can see how the lights will trace during the zooming out/in, then use a 2 second timer to avoid more vibrations than usual during the exposure, and while the shooting is going, try to zoom out/in the lens as smooth as you can.

Did u do this by zooming out as you took the picture at a slow shutter speed

lo ideal es tener un paisaje no muy iluminado pero tampoco tan oscuro, y las luces de una ciudad desde un punto alto es el paisaje ideal
