I decided to revisit an older map of mine and essentially remaster it, as well as boost the resolution from 2000 x 1270 up to 4000 x 2540, doubling it. Attempting to doing this upscaling within photoshop broke quite a lot of my layer styles, so I then took some time to fix everything and make it look as it ought to at a high resolution, while simultaneously giving many of the elements a touch up. I am much happier with this version now.
As always, questions about the mapmaking process are welcome, as well as any lore/worldbuilding questions. And commissions are always open as well.

Lore:
There are 7 Colonies in the region, meant to sort of mirror the original 13 colonies of the US. Each one is highly competitive with the others, and the distant Farron Empire in the west rewards the ones who serve them best.
However, in more recent years, the Empire mainland has been hit by drought and famine, and they now rely almost entirely on the Colonies for shipments of supplies, food and iron mostly. This has changed the dynamic of the relationship between Empire and Colonies, and some colonials are wondering now if they wouldn't be better off independent, and if now might be the best time to break away while the Farron Empire is at it's weakest.
