*UPDATE 4/14/07:* The Sonic Kirbys, IN LIVING COLOR. Zomg. I'm using the GIMP to go back and fix all the things I forgot to put into the original drawing. It's still obviously unfinished; all of them will look as good as Cream Kirby when I'm done. In the meantime, fear their soulless eyes.

Original Description:

I was playing Super Smash Bros. Melee several months ago, and an interesting thought popped into my head: what would happen if Kirby swallowed the Sonic characters and copied their powers?

I immediately sat down and started drawing this. I finished drawing Sonic-Kirby, Tails-Kirby, Knuckles-Kirby, and Amy-Kirby before I got distracted by something else (possibly hunger) and abandoned the drawing.

Today I found it again in a folder of my art and finally finished it by adding in Cream-Kirby, Rouge-Kirby and Shadow-Kirby. I hastily scanned it into my computer and discovered a horrible truth; during the several months between my first conception of the drawing and my finishing of it, the drawing had been smudged horribly in ways that I didn't immediately see on the page outside my computer, but which nonetheless stood out clearly on the computer screen.

What followed were several agonizing hours as I attempted to erase the smudges with a digital photo manipulation program.

Ten minutes ago I finally finished touching it up and took another look at it. Only then did I discover ANOTHER horrible truth; I'd forgotten to draw several things before scanning the drawing into my computer. DX

So, since I REALLY don't want to go back and 1.Finish penciling in the missing parts, 2.Scan it into my computer again, and 3.Spend another five hours fixing smudges...you'll have to make do with what I've got. See if you can spot all the missing parts!

I'm currently working on continuing this theme with other Sonic-related characters. Stay tuned!
