This was my final project for my Visual Concepts class. A collage, something new for myself really...

The project was based around water. After doing alot of reflection, I decided to have my peice reflect the personal connection I feel with water--rain--Seattle--my home.

My journey became the theme. My journey of moving from Seattle to where I am now, and how I evolved as a person. I related that to how water is ever changing.

The background was done on watercolor paper stained with tissue paper. The pictures are my personal pictures. The ones on the left are dyed in coffee. Drawings of myself at age six, eleven, and twenty were done in prismacolor marker.

And there it is. I apologize for the poor quality, my camera is rotten and the peice was too big to scan--obviously. *heh*

"Rainclouds don't stay in one place, they journey. I want to be like a raincloud, moving and sprinkling the world with life."

Lyrics on the top belong to a band called "Sky Eats Airplane".
