Description The first image I made for illustration class.
This is an unfinished image, but I cropped it later
Finished version: [link]

It was made for the Norwegian fairytale "East o' the Sun, West o' the Moon"

There's allot of symbolism in it.
In the story this white bear comes to carry the girl away. She goes with him willingly, as her family will go from being poor to become very rich and she is promised a good life as well.
She has just come in to adulthood, which the red rose symbolise (it's also still fine and pure, to show she is still virgin)
The little bunnies show that the bear is safe, but she can not see it. She longs for her family while he longs for their future ahead.
It's dusk as the sun goes down, ending her childhood and a darkness ahead, as the future is unknown.
