Description Derpy Hooves, mailmare and ambiguously confusing pony, wielding akimbo plasma pistols. HOLY SHEET I'M GOOD WITH THIS GAME.

I think, beneath Derpy's ditzy exterior is a total badass waiting to be released.

Those plasma pistols look like regular revolvers. But where did you get them from, and what game are they from?

They're Deus Ex cross-promotional items from TF2. They're replacements for the Spy's revolver. I got them from the inner files on gmod.

Oh wait, so you can actually GET plasma weapons in TF2?! You can arm the Spy with a plasma pistol? That's awesome! I've never even known that before!

Well, it's not really a plasma pistol... I think. I've never handled one, only the Machina (Deus Ex sniper rifle for Sniper)

Oh. Well still it looks good...did you add the blue glows in Photoshop?

Nah, it's all ingame. I don't have photoshop.
I created the glow by putting a blue light in the gun's barrel, then used the fancy bloom render thingy to make it extra glowy.

But aren't lights bulky? The ones I've worked with are the kind that use ropes for being tethered to a surface, and which you directionally roated with the physgun. There are other lights than that kind?

Also, I never understood how to use the post-processing bits (which I assume is there the bloom render thing is) because I'm not sure they'd show up or not in the game world. Does it have something to do with the camera tool you can switch too? Does it show up in the "pictures" you take with that, and if so where on my hard drive can one find the pictures you take? Because I always use Fraps for my screenshots.

No, those are lamps. Lights just create an area of light. They're quite enjoyable.
Ok, here it goes. The post processing is pretty easy to use, I just use the presets and choose the one that works for the image. It isn't related to the camera tool, but works really well in conjuction. They do show up on the picture you take. The images should be in Program Files/Steam/steamapps//garrysmod/garrysmod/screenshots.

Ohhh....okay, thanks for that. I will now look at the screenshots I have taken, and maybe experiment with post-processing effects too!

Personally, do you recommend Fraps or the actual Gmod camera when it comes to better-quality pictures?

Well, I don't have fraps, so I can't make a good judgement.
