Design based on frozen Chinese dumplings called jiaozi or chiaotzu （饺子）.
Also inspired by cold cut or cold dishes like dim sum (e.g. xia jiao / har gao 虾饺 or seoi jing gao / shui jing jiao 水晶饺, in Mandarin and Cantonese pronunciation respectively also known as crystal prawn dumplings).
Also based on mini-pigs and suckling pigs.
The regional Swinub was born to be wrapped in soft yellow sheet like hair.
It has been through hot water and been frozen, thus it became able to communicate with the spirits of its predecessors.
Their ancestors' spirits pity it and will help it with supernatural power when needed.
