So here's Saana and her best friend, Lyra.
I've posted a couple of artworks featuring Saana before, but they're from quite some time before she met Lyra.

Lyra is an ice genasi (also a para-genasi homebrew race), and she's also a pirate. She does a little bit of this and a little bit of that on the Anjelica. (Actually I don't know what she does, but she's a NPC Rogue in the game where I play Saana)
What can be said about these two is that working together, they're either the best team on the ship or a natural disaster. There's no real in-between with them.

Saana might be into Lyra, but she's not entirely sure on it. Nor does she have any idea whether or not her feelings are requited. And what-with their hot-cold friendship, feelings aren't the easiest thing to figure out.

This sketch is meant to be at semi-present time in the campaign.
Some things have... changed, in the 3 years since she last saw the Captain of the Scarlet Queen.
