I quite like how this one turned out, though it's at times like this that I wish I had a tablet...

My childhood memories of watching Princess Mononoke, a Studio Ghibli film. YOU MUST WATCH.

Layers: 56, unmerged
Tools: GIMP 2.6, mouse, laptop touchpad (still too chicken to use CS5)
Other: The mane and tail could've been a lot better... if I'd had a tablet :<
I'm happy with the way the rest of it turned out though:
- merged backgrounds
- added paint marking
- grounding, etc.
Worked on drawing the wolves' eyes for about half an hour when I realised that from this distance, you shouldn't be able to see much detail anyway LOL. So I settled for some mysterious glowing dots instead
