Evil lookin' bugger, ain't he? And yes, Dark Surge, Dark Super Surge, and Dark Plasma Surge ARE evil, not just under the control of Mars and Halycon like usual. The reason for the purple is 'cause Dark Plasma, beign a sci-fi thing (so far) is generally accepted as being a purple-black substance, sorta like electrified liquid fire.
