I woke up, but all I could see was darkness. Blackness surrounded me and there was just utter nothingness everywhere. I didn't even know I felt, my mind was just absolutely blank. Was I even awake, or was it just a dream? Or had I died? No idea.
    Then I heard it, in the distance...it was soft at first...a gentle flowing tune. Someone was playing the guitar, very softly, right next to me.
    But...it was still blackness everywhere. I let my mind relax, allowing the darkness to swallow me whole.

    "Fuck."

    I couldn't see anything at all, I knew I was awake now, but it was still dark.

    "What's wrong babe?" A voice beside my ear startled me, it was soft.
    "I can't see anything."

    The voice from earlier chuckled. "Ah...open your eyes."

    I did as the voice said, a pair of large crystal blue eyes stared back into mine. I startled and rolled sideways away from the eyes, I panicked as I felt myself fall. But the fall was brief and I felt my back hit the ground, a soft carpeted floor.
    "Whoops, sorry love. Didn't mean to scare you." The voice said. I realized I had just fallen off a bed, I sat up on the floor and then realized who was talking to me.

    Niall Horan.

    I'm actually very proud of myself this time, I didn't faint like last time. Niall sat on the bed I had been on (before I fell off it of course), he was wearing a pale grey tee and a pair of Calvin Klein boxers. He reached his hand forward to help me up, his eyes shining with amusement.

    "You know, you scared the crap outta me." I say, taking his hand in mine. I blush as our hands make contact. I sit up on the bed, facing him.
    "I'm sorry, but uh...how are you feeling?" He asks.
    "What?"
    "You know, you fainted...earlier...how do you feel? I've never fainted before." He replies.
    "Oh, fine I guess. I just didn't expect some random guy to be you..."


He smirks and looks down, using his fingers to trace circles on the mattress of the bed. "So you honestly, you honestly, had no idea I lived in this area? You weren't stalking me?"

"No, do I look like the stalker type?" I snap, why does he think I'd stalk him, I was a fan but not enough to stalk him around.

Niall tilts his head, turning his head to look at me. I feel his eyes look over me and I felt my heart beat faster, how in the world did I end up sitting in Niall Horan's flat talking to him?

He shakes his head, "No, you're not a stalker."

"Well, uh, thank you."

Niall nods, he looks out the window of his bedroom. We sit in silence for a while, it was probably for only like two minutes, but to me it felt like forever. Strangely it wasn't an uncomfortable silence, it actually felt welcomed, a comfortable silence.

"You know, I've never noticed how blue you're eyes were." I say, looking at him. I immediately regret saying that, what the heck? Telling one of your idols how blue his eyes are? Who does that?

He turns his head away from the window and glances at me, smiling. "And your eyes are really brown...and big, pretty." He says, his cheeks turning a light shade of pink.

I blush so much I probably look like a tomato, "Yeah right, they are not big..."

"Shut up, they are. Are you wearing make up right now?" He asks, his eyes not leaving mine.

"Gross...no. It makes me feel fake."

"So, you have nothing on right now. It's all natural, even your hair?" His brow furrows.

I finger my black hair, "Yeah. All natural, 100% organic." I bite my tongue, why must I make such stupid jokes...they're probably too dumb to be even considered a "joke".

But he laughs. And wow. His laugh is the best thing in the world, indescribable but perfect.

"Hey, what time is it? How long was I out?" I ask, kind of coming back to my senses.

"Oh, um...let's see." He reaches over to the nightstand and grabs his Blackberry, "It's ten fifty five."

I consider the time...ten fifty five. Wait. If it was ten fifty five, and it is light outside, that means it's in the morning. And my flight, my flight back to the states, leaves at...no...it had left...twenty five minutes ago.

"Shit. I just missed my flight back home." I look up at Niall, our eyes both wide.
