Brief History: (This is not brief but I feel the urge to keep writing ?)
The massive tosa mix stood underneath the small outcropping of rocks, his head lifted to the heavens. As the rain and mist fell rhythmicly his good eye turned to the weary guest who had wandered into his den. The soaking wet dog stared at him with horror as he saw the battle scarred face before him.
"I hate to share my space with other dogs, especially rude ones who stare." He snarled menacingly his voice rustic an deep. Reclining to a sitting position,
"However this weather makes my old bones hurt so you can stay until this weather blows over." He sighed as his gaze looked toward the sky again, evening having fallen the sky despite the raging storm was beautiful. The old dog spoke not turning to his temporary companion, "These kind of days remind me of when I was young... I'll tell you a tale youngster you might get a kick out it and besides you can show a little respect and listen to this old timer."
A small mongrel was born on the outskirts of Hokkaido, the tiny pup was raised in an illegal fighting ring. He was beaten and abused, but one day the people in blue showed up and broke up the fighting ring. He and a select few dogs were taken to a place where they held dogs and gave them away to new people, he had remember hearing the older dogs talking about it. He was handled by people in white coats and other uniforms he could not describe.
They did strange things to test his patience, like trying to take his food away or bringing other new dogs around. Despite all this he was cleared and labeled, they moved him to a different cell where friendly happy dogs seemed to be though all were desperate.
The young pup became close friends with his cellmate next door. The dog was older and grizzled with age, he had been kind and they talked often of the news of the day or of the strange sometimes loud little people come in shouting excitedly. However one morning before the sun had risen, the pup awoke to the old dog whispering to him through the bars.
"Little one, listen closely... My time is short come an hour before dawn I will die." The old dog named Rolland growled.
"What do you mean by "Die"?" The pup asked in confusion he was no stranger to death he had seen it happen multiple times in the ring including his parents.
"They plan to put me to sleep today I will cease to exist, my time is up I'm too old to be adopted now so I want you to listen to my last request." The old dog said sadly his dull amber eyes staring into space.
"Okay..." The pup answered respectfully to the dog he called friend, his eyes misting at the thought of losing him, this dog had taught him everything he knew.
"I am no house dog boy, these scars that litter my body are from my days in Ohu. It is a paradise for dogs that has long since been defended in bloody conflict with bears, humans and other dogs. This place is my home where I was born and raised, All that I have taught you was taught to me when I was in Ohu. But I left and shamed my family I thought to conquer and create my own army my own paradise. However I was wrong.... So I beseech you pup to go to Ohu on my behalf and spend time with them, be molded by them and become strong like them. You are the closest thing I have to a son and as my son I am proud of you. Do this one task for me, I wish I could go back to Ohu and see the beautiful spring one more time...."
With huge eyes the pup dipped his head "I will go to Ohu once I leave this place. I will go and honor you.... You are the closest thing I have to a father."
Rolland smiled a tad teary eyed and whispered softly as he rested his head finally at peace with everything, "Thank you..."
That day an hour before dawn Rolland was taken into the back room and never came back out, his cell was cleaned out and a new dog was placed there.
A Family came in a few days later and picked the pup to come home with them, so he was taken from his cell and given an odd contraption around his neck and whisked away to a large brick building where there were several flights of stairs. He was held by the little girl who was called Ryoko. She called him Kuro, they became fast friends growing alongside one another but Kuro began to sense something wrong with the household. He hated the Alpha in the house the big man who reeked of smoke and alcohol, he was mean and often raised his hand against the little girl and the mother. Kuro would not stand for his friend to be bullied so he often bit the man whenever he went near the little girl in an aggressive way. He wanted to protect what he cared about, the man however seemed to be becoming worse tempered and often taking it out on the mother who now fought back.
Kuro would often cuddle up with Ryoko and keep her calm and safe when the parents had screaming matches throwing things around the house. Often the men in blue were called and broke up the argument, sadly one day the fight got so bad... that the mother was knocked down after a loud bang. Ryoko had cried sobbing and shaking as a pool of blood appeared beneath her mother, Kuro had pulled her away from the scene already knowing she was gone. He had pushed her under the bed and stood by the bed guarding her, he was huge now just a year and a half old but his frame was large and intimidating. When the man came in shouting angrily for his daughter his words slurred, a metal shape in his hand. Kuro had not hesitated he lunged biting the hand with the weapon and snarling angrily as he shook his head. He used the moves he had learned in dog fighting, Ryoko had screamed and raced out of her room and out the front door running to the neighbors house to get help. Just as she left the house she heard a gunshot go off.
That was how Kuro had gotten the scar on his chest, he hadn't died and still despite his bleeding wound held onto the man's hand biting down with all the force he could muster. The man dropped the gun and lost several fingers before Kuro grabbed the gun and ran out of the apartment only to run headlong into a man in blue. Kuro dropped the gun and whimpered as he collapsed on the floor glaring angrily as the man he had bitten came around the corner. He had no weapon so he had given up easily the blue people put restrictive binds on him and took him away, while Kuro went searching for Ryoko who was standing with some blue people.
Kuro had limped over to her and had lowered his head as he sat beside her, she was overjoyed that he was alive and healthy having thought he had died. She held him close but sadly some people who were her mothers family came for her, saying they couldn't take the dog. She had cried and fought trying to stay with her friend. Kuro watched as they put her in a car and drove away, he was happy she was safe but mad that they had taken her. He chased after them despite his wounds he wanted to be with his friend more than anything, but he could not keep up with the car and watched as they disappeared down the streets of the city. He howled for her and for his loss, the men in blue stared sadly at the dog.
Kuro ran for all he was worth away from the city he couldn't take it any longer so he left.
He decided he would travel to Ohu but became side tracked in handling disputes, he became a legend at one place known as Tate Mountain the nickname was Demon of Tate Mountain. He changed his name to Kurose meaning kill so that only those close to him would call him Kuro. His nicknames were all different but the most prominent ones were Kurose of Hokkaido, The Titan of the Alps, Demon of Tate mountain, Kurose the Dog slayer.
As his reputation grew he began to make his way to Ohu, now at the age of three he had finally reached Ohu where he has stayed for a year and will continue to for some time until he returns to his pack led by his close friend Levi in his stead on Tate mountain.
He met Weed and his dogs and was honored as he told them of his story and asked to join, Weed had welcomed him with open arms and for many years he served faithfully as a soldier. He admired Weed for his kindness and quick thinking, unlike himself he used aggression to solve problems.
However Weed had taught him compassion, he had made him open his eyes and see things with a different perspective a humble and forgiving soul. Weed had led the group well but one day it all came to an end, after the general had died Kurose had remained on edge but he was horrified to find Weed as the next victim by this mysterious monster. He still remembers vividly of what had happened to Weed the carnage he had seen that day could not be unseen.
Kurose stood vigil through the night and into the dawn until Weed's body had been laid to rest. With a heavy heart he had resigned himself from the others, preferring solitude. Yet the sense of justice he had always carried coupled with the compassion Weed had taught him allowed him to stand tall and welcome Ryu as the new pack leader. He had known enough of the young male and admired him for he acted just like Weed. He wants desperately to help Ryu as his last promise to Weed. He would serve faithfully and honorably beside Ryu whether as a soldier or as something more he did not care.
"I'm six now but I am still a fierce warrior," Kurose growled as he chuckled the last part softly. He smiled crookedly at his companion before grunting.
"Looks like the weather is better at least for a short time. Thanks for listening to an old dog's rambling...." He turned to the now clearing sky the rain having ended as his story had.

Weed Former Leader of Ohu- Weed was such a strong character and when I came to Ohu as a young dog angry at the world he tamed me. His kindness and compassion won me over slowly, he accepted me with open arms and I served under him in a platoon for many years. I wish to help him in any way I can, he wanted for Ryuu to lead the pack so therefore I will serve his godson faithfully like I did him. I hope that Weed can rest easy knowing that he has loyal soldiers even in the grave.
Ryuu Leader of Ohu- I admire this dog he is much like Weed, though I still have much to learn about him I would like to get to know him better overtime. I will serve him faithfully as I promised Weed I would, I expect great things from this dog. I hope he will find some worth in an older soldier like me.
Ryouta- Serving in Ohu together I find this particular dog to be a great companion, seeing as we are older than most of the youngsters we are able to let loose around each other. Ryouta has always been strong and quite the jokester I find his company welcome.
Hariken- A mouthy stray who at first I could say I did not like, but remembering our fallen leader made me feel a small bit of compassion for the fiery youngster. I grew quite fond of the stray though I would never admit to it, he has my respect he would make a fine soldier. I would like to learn more about this fiery soul I feel he has much to share even if he is young.
Aeron- She seems okay to me I find her not too bad she seems a bit forgetful but is pleasant none the less, she is a fiery spirit and I can see she is confident in most cases. She was afraid of me at first since I came crashing through the bushes to attack the trespasser, however I quickly learned she had not meant any ill will and simply forgotten where the borders were in all the rain the scent markers were fain and she was hungry. She seems a capable hunter.
