Aaahhh! I have to scream though here, because otherwise I would wake up my family. Round of applause! This is amazing! I wish I could favorite this more than once! Just everything about this is epic! I love the lighting, the shading, the dark stormy atmosphere, the expressions, and everything else about th beautiful piece of art! Here I am just going to throw you some internet flowers for you for anything an amazing job!

I'm not sure if this would count as genuine criticism or not. However, it doesn't feel like you captured the same sense of death in the old one. In the previous artwork, Scourge's eyes are empty and unfocused. While in 2018, he's looking directly at the audience with squinted eyes, which would require him to be alive, in order his eyes muscles to move. Also the major reason he doesn't appear died, is the absence of blood. His collar isn't ripped. There's no sign he's been injured/cause of death.
As it is, it just appears Scourge is laying on the ground, grumbling to himself. If he's dying but still technically alive, that would chase away the contradiction with his eyes. As he would still have focus in/control of his eyes. However, there should be sign of injury.
But apart from that, vast improvement, with better proportion of angels/body parts. As in the old art, the paw was oversized compared with the rest of the body. Also better shading is much better. With sharper/smoother lines.

This is amazing! You've improved a lot over just one year!
I think Scourge is kinda glorified, but other than the countless pictures of him with bloody claws, I think he was pretty cool.

Love the improvement ;u; The perspective and lighting looks so nice!
Honestly I think Scourge is very relatable as a villain! I enjoyed getting to read his backstory and learning how he became what he was- how he was kinda forced into such a position to survive on the streets. The fear and lack of love in his life ended up turning him into a monster. I think it was ultimately overconfidence and lack of faith that killed him.

that's true! I never really thought about it like that, I guess his ability to be relatable to readers is what makes him so appealing, he had such a big impact in such a little amount of time

What a nice improvement! o:
I know Scourge is drawn a lot, but I do think he is a perfect villain to counter Tigerstar in the series. Basically shows how hungry Tigerstar was for power and he was blind enough to get himself killed.. greed took over him (and kind of Scourge too hur hur.) Just Scourge’s backstory could be fixed a tad but otherwise I think he’s a good villain!
Anyways, hope to see more of your work and keep up the improvements o:

Thanks! and yea he was a pretty ideal villain, just wish he would've been more developed throughout the series like how Tigerstar was, but i guess that's asking too much since there's so many characters XD
