This is a beautiful concept. The colors of the clothing go together well with the muted grass of the background. I really like the use of silver and gold that contrasts against the simplier tastes of the dress. This gives it the feel of a young girl playing tea in her backyard.
All that being said, I think the focusing could be better. A fuzzy focus can of course be used to hint at nostalgia, but here it seems distracting and takes away from the image. All in all it's a wonderfully done concept, but with a stronger focus on the images in the foreground it could be even more striking.

Thank you very much! I've been waiting for a critique, you made me very happy (: I agree with you about the focus, I have troubles with that sometimes. It's difficult for me to get it the way I want.
If you have any tips or tricks on acheiving a stronger focus I'd love to hear them.

Sometimes the lighting can make it difficult to focus. Or sometimes if you are very close to an object that causes trouble too. I would have focused in on the right edge of the teacup, getting the focus square on some of the background so the camera adjusts better for the bright background. Are you using the auto settings or do you use manual?

You have a nice camera, so I'm not sure what it might be.... Except, your ISO setting is really high for the photo, which can cause some graininess. I'm just starting out with photography really, but I would think an ISO of less than 100 would have been better in such bright light.

Okay, I'll make sure to check it next time. Thanks
