Here is a first look at my next Dark Mirror commission. This request was for a Dark Mirror Reg Barclay. I decided that I would make this Barclay a confidant engineer that was promoted to Chief Engineer of the I.S.S.Enterprise after Laforge moved onto be the First officer of the I.S.S.Titan. Attached is the reference image of Dwight Shultz I used.Sean P. Tourangeau

P.S. I chose this reference image because the Mirror universe Barclay is vain and over confidant also obsessed with his looks. In the prime universe Reg is a wreck in the Mirror universe he isn't.

Just one thing: In the novel DARK MIRROR, Mirror Barclay winds up getting killed off by Mirror Troi.

As I always said my Dark Mirror Art is loosely based on the Dark Mirror Novel. Think of my Dark Mirror Universe as a Myriad Mirror-verse.

He is as Mad as Howling Mad Murdock, but he is confidant and vain as well. He hides his madness with his tinkering with the Enterprise's Systems to make her one of the strongest ships in the fleet. That and he likes to play pranks on unsuspecting crewmembers.

Dwight is a truly underrated, versatile actor.
I did a Mirror Barclay figure of my own. This Reg served on board a Klingon vessel under General Worf. He was known to be a realhardass.

I love the roles Dwight has been cast in over the years. He has a wide range.

In some ways Reg embodies Roddenberry's vision of humanity transcending it's limitations and becoming something more.
Sure he's pretty skittish. But when it's really important, Reg buckles down and pulls through. If anyone has earned the right to be the Chief Engineer to Starfleets flagship, it's Reg.
And I kinda ship him and M'ress.

ya ... might be the head ... think it's slightly off position as well ... and the fact that the lineweight of the head differs completely from the one of the rest.
