Beautifully done. I especially like the way you have capture his character in your facial expression. I also enjoy your color palette. The anatomy is well drawn.

-------------------

In a side a note, there are some rules around copyright to be sure you are fully protected around the world. Obviously it is your personal choice as to how you do it or if you do it at all:

Under internal law, putting your copyright signature under the image posting, does not afford full copyright protection.

There are some variances in copyright law around the world, but most of it has been agreed on under INTERNATIONAL COPYRIGHT CONVENTIONS. The first being the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works in 1886. The Universal Copyright Convention was drafted in 1952.

It requires that the copyright signature be affixed directly to the image being posted. It is fine of course for the original to be free of a copyright signature.

Under International Copyright Convention, your Copyright Signature MUST be affixed to the internet image itself (not the original) and must contain 3 elements, which can be in any order (spaces and punctuation do not matter). The three elements are:

1. Your legal name, or your Tradename (ideally registered).
2. The © symbol as shown, either drawn or typed (option and g keys pressed at the same time).
3. The year the image was created, followed by each year it was changed.

You can use fancy script fonts, handwriting fonts, and graphics. It can be placed anywhere on your image and in any size you wish.

Thanks for the post. I do not print or authorize any prints of any of my work. I am concentrating on ooak pieces. this is simply to deter ALL the requests I have to tube my work etc etc.

The copyright signature on a posted image is to copyright the posted image itself, not prints. In other words, to protect the images you posted on DA from being taken and used by others, or used commercially, without your consent. Without copyright affixed to the image, a defendant simply has to say there is no copyright notice on the image and had no idea it was theft. But I realize that some artists do mind if this happens with their low resolution posted images.
