Love these. Do you have a process for coloring them (well adding more colors I should say).

Not really, I just sketch something then start putting things down and se where it goes. If you have any specific questions about that feel free to fire them at me

I like this a lot! Style reminds me a bit of a webcomic I've been seeing ads for everywhere.

Her design also reminds me of one of the fire nation ladies from A: The Last Airbender a lil bit.

Thanks I am glad I hit the spot Really id you have a link for the web comic hook me up

Ha ha ha yeah because of the pallet I used it is very fire nation but the influence was korean... <.<...>.>... and the earth nation. So your pretty on the mark there

Just something in the main girl's face, though it's more visible in the advertisement image they used.

If this is a warm up I want to see what a full out drawing looks like. lol. Great job with this and your other wam ups.

Thanks I am glad you like them. A finished would I think be much smoother on the skin, the hair and armor would be properly rendered and I would have fixed the shadows on the face (I think the left side has the Asian skull characteristics but the right side is a bit undefined) So thhat would be what I would do to try and take it to the next stage of finished

You're welcome. So like how often do you do warm-ups?

I try and do them before I start, I used to do them in sketchbooks all the time but I picked up a tablet pc so now I can do them digitally at the coffee shop and upload em to boot

Oh wow that's pretty neat. I want to get into digital art, but for now I may just stick with pencil, paper, pen, and markers until I take the graphic design classes.

I think people should do what they are really jazzed about, but it is always good to branch out from it every now and again And with short deadlines and such it is an asset from that point of view to be able to work digitally

Yeah. Digital art is pretty neat. Well I ordered a Waccom Bamboo Graphic Tablet from Amazon. (I got a pretty good deal. Not used, but new). I can't wait for it to come in the mail, but with all of this crazy weather the package's arrival date has been delayed. Hopefully it will come tomorrow. I can't wait to break out into Digital art.
