"One more miracle, Sherlock, for me. Don't be... dead."This had become his litany, his catechism. He knew it would change nothing, but he couldn't stand over his best friend's grave without the words tumbling out.
And then, very early one dreary spring morning, a tired baritone responded from behind him.
Yes, more Sherlock fan art. Have some post-Reichenbach feels. AHH I can't stop. Sorry. I have another one in progress, but it's going to be a bit because the giant freelance project I'm working on has first pick of my time.
This one was actually supposed to be...well, STARTED as a doodle, months ago, but I'd always kind of wanted to make a more polished version. But it was originally intended to be just a quick little drawing...but then I got into experimenting with some color and playing with my background (perspective? We don't need no stinking perspective!) so it got bigger.

Aaaah. Its all your fault!
Your fanart about Sherlock made me curious about the series. Since I had a few free hours to rest and do nothing I did internet research and begin even more curious. So i decided to watch first episode (I'm usually avoiding serials due to constant lack of time) Aaaaaand the catastrophe begin. I had only enough free time to watch one episode per day. Just imagine this.
I was like some sort of lunatic during the last week.
I have never fall in love with any movie soo deeply.
I never even liked Sherlok Holmes book.
But this. THIS. The Sherlock and Watson were portrayed so... human. And everything, I just fail to describe how i loved every detail.
Anyway, before I write something far too long. Thank you.
And damn you, now I can't wait until season three (so long!)
I adore all your fan arts of Sherlock, but this is my personal favourite. You captured emotions and mood of the whole scene perfectly. This is how season two should end.

First off...I'm sorry. I'm so sorry.
That said...I...well, the thought that my art inspired you to find Sherlock is thrilling. Conning peple into the Sherlock fandom fills me with yay. (Because I want others to suffer as I do, perhaps?) Okay, it's because I'm a geek, and nothing gives us geeks greater pleasure than to share the focus of our geekdoms with others and have them embrace them.
The story of your desperate scramble to watch as much Sherlock as possible? Awesome and I totally relate. And yes...the series is just...so good. SO good. And Cumberbatch and Freeman are brilliant. And also gorgeous, but that's beside the point of their brilliant acting. Honestly, I don't think there is a character on the series I don't adore.
I am SO happy you like my art! (FULL OF SQUEE!) There will be more because I simply can't stop myself. I am also SO happy that you like the series! Another yeeaaaar... This is absolutely terrible. And just imagine amount of fan art that will be produced till this time. I'm just in the middle of creating a few on myself. Me! I suppose I have never done fan art in my life. Untill now.
Fortunately i have some extra freelance job right now, this will stop me. A little.

I'm just finishing my most time-consuming freelance project tomorrow so I shall have more free time to work on my fanarts. They are nothing but a bunch of sketches right now. And I'm rather shy about them. I haven't submit anything on Deviantart since ages.

I was never really learning English at school so I don't now if its good or bad. I just somehow learned it from books, games and films. I'm from Poland an they were trying to teach me German at school. I remembered only how to say "I don't understand" and "I don't have my homework". English is far more easy, I can tell you that.

HAHA! I never thought English would be easier than ANYTHING. I mean, I know we have so many weird words and combinations from so many different cultures, so there are NO hard and fast grammar rules...it can be frustrating even for a native speaker.

That's a point, have we ever seen Sherlock shoot anyone? Successfully? 0_o Most fights he gets in tend to end with him being whumped on. And now he's going to take down a criminal network on his own without taking his best friend who he admitted has nerves of steel as well as military training, is a crack shot and has saved his life multiple times. Dumb, dumb, dumb.
...Ok, until S3 comes out, my headcanon is just going to be that Sherlock gets captured or something, as he would. And then John finds him, saves the day, is a bloody BAMF and that's how they're reunited. There, I'm happy now. ^_^

And then John takes his gun and freaking tracks Seb Moran to Eastern Europe and shoots everyone and saves a half-conscious, malnourished, drugged Sherlock from a dirty warehouse and rides with him in the helicopter that takes them to the first rate German private hospital. And he promises Sherlock that as soon as he is better, he's going to punch him so hard he'll knock his too-clever brain half-way out of his skull. But then he stays by his bed the entire time Sherlock is in the hospital. And tells him stories. And helps him drink water. And makes fun of Mycroft. And threatens to punch him at least once a day.
