I guess this is sort of a coming out photo for me on this site. We were heading to the Renaissance Faire the other day and my wife was making salads for lunch. She asked me to run to the grocery store and pick up a few things she was out of. I was already half dressed for the faire (no corset yet). I didn't really have time to change out into men's cloths and start over again when I got back to the house.

So, off to the store I go. I had done trips in skirts before, once with my wife, and once a real quick Amazon pickup early in the morning. This time I was very brightly dressed, I even threw on a shawl real quick so I would look a little more complete. I went in, got my few items, checked out, and on my way out this very nice employee asked me to wait while she found her phone out of her purse, she wanted a picture with me So, of course I had to get one too!

It all touches on my fears of how I would be perceived. I am not looking to take on a female persona, I am not trans, and don't try to look like a woman. I am very much a man in a dress, and it is because I very much enjoy wearing them. They are not women's dresses that I own, they are my dresses! Seeking acceptance for who I am, and being comfortable in my own self is becoming easier for me, and it is very liberating.
