This answers my previous question regarding Ihy.. So if the majority of Hathor's history is all mixed up and even as a direct channel, I cant find much regarding her stories written[Hathor with Thoth/, Horus/Ihy].. where did you come up with such accurate information? I do recall Ihy being rarely clothed back then, except an anklet and dusty feet from the sands.. such a sweet child singing beautiful songs to himself.. So Precious ♪
Thank you for creating this beautiful photo and all of your work sharing important information..

I've gotten all my information from books, mostly. The reason her history seems mixed up is because the religion of Egypt varied regionally. Each cult center had its own take on things. It reminds me a little of the different schools/sects of Hinduism, where one group reveres Vishnu as the supreme god, and another does the same for Shiva, and another does the same for Shakti, and so forth.
In Iunet (now called Dendera), Hathor's cult center, she was linked with Horus the Elder (Har-Wer/Heru-Wer/Heru-Ur/Haroeris)and their child was Ihy. In Khemenu/Hermopolis (now called El-Ashmunein), the goddess Nehemtawy (identified with Hathor) was paired with Thoth, who was the god of Khemenu/Hermopolis (The latter is the Greek name of the place, so called because the Greeks identified Thoth with their god Hermes, hence "City of (the Egyptian god Thoth who is called) Hermes".
If you are interested in the festival I mentioned, it is called "Festival of the Beautiful Reunion" or "Beautiful Feast of the Reunion" (there seem to be different variations on the translation).

Wow that resonates immensely, thank you for all your work! Yes I see what you mean.. it was also that a differing story would be told from temple to temple, which complicated things.. as well as in the Kemetic religion, they named 'months' of the year after Gods of the Pantheon too.. and there were the annual reenactments, that are also depicted.. But I am curious when during the year, does this festival occur?
also Hathor is known as the mother of Horus[Hathor's name means 'house of Horus'] so why was it ever confused as Isis's child? Anubis as well..?

The festival occurred during the 3rd month of the season of Shomu, the dry season.
Hathor's roles have changed through the thousands of years of Egyptian history, and in later times, Hathor's roles and iconography have been absorbed into those of Isis, such that in many depictions of a sun-and-horn-crowned goddess, one cannot tell whether it was Hathor or Isis unless one read the accompanying hieroglyphic text.

Wow. I love the detail. And Horus looks exceptionally good.
The proportions on Hathor are a bit off (her legs need to be straighter and her ribcage would come down below her breasts) but apart from that this looks really good. Ihy looks really cute.
Great work. xxx

Well done, dude. I am loving the details. Horus especially looks great. His face and clothing is excellent. Lovely details all around, though. Good job on Horus and the baby as well.
