We drove all the way through the mountains...not through Cades Cove though, but a different route.
This route goes straight through the mountains.
well, we didn't follow the directions correctly,
and somehow we ended up in Cherokee, NC.
Women were driving, go figure. (shhh).

I've been to Cherokee, NC. once long long long ago for a mini-vacation with an old boyfriend and his family. It was beautiful out there.
I miss mountains.
