it's a great shot, i wouldn't change a thing...
great lighting and love the shadows, esp. how they're purple...

This brings up a sad thought to me.. I see the white 'stones' all together on a pile and one black 'stone' all alone. Did you chose black and white intended? It reminds me of people being excluded. But it is a great shot! Well done composition! D

Thankyou. You are correct with the meaning behind the photo. This photo was for a class assignment so the image had be mostly white, but i felt the black domino was most important aspect of the photo. Personally i like how the shade of grey links the white pile and the isolated black domino- showing that there is no clear black and white in the world.

Having no clue what your talking about when using the terms "high Key and low Key" but this one ummm reminds me of me vs society ...i'm a smidge of a black sheep of the family
