is now the then and there
in this little game
If everything is always
changing
why does so much stay the same?
There has always been earth
beneath my feet
and air in my lungs.
There is always a little joy
and a little fear
and I've always liked bugs
So why are the little things
the ones that get me down?
Why is it that when i am most lonely
everyone else is around?
Doomed to wonder through this wayward station
between birth and the great beyond
but not really doomed
because of wondering, i am truly fond
