Hey you're singing to the choir <3
I know exactly what you mean,
A lot of base artist don't shake it up,
I work in both extremes plus the middle,
I want to broaden my art style,
And not just be the plain all,
"Skinny, big boobed, blue eyes, albino."
I'm sick and tired of it.

Mhm, I hardly ever work with plump characters, but it´s just part of my style, if you look closely certain characters ARE fatter than others
Also, something I´ve noticed, PLENTY of white people, a good serving of hispanic people and quite the amount of chacters with chinese/japanese features. But, how many black manga girls have you seen? I mean full-blown africaans women? None, or maybe one or two odd ones that I haven´t seen yet, but mostly only one or two black men. And that that the whole figure with broad hips, large breasts and thin waists is COMPLETELY based on the africaans figure. So annoying...
PS: "Africaans" is not "Africans", it´s similar, but a colloquial term, not for the people born in Africa, but the people following the traditional life-style and so on, like tribal people, or on a slightly lesser scale.

Haha it's understandable,
A lot of artists,
Find it easier to make a character,
Averaged sized.
With chubbier people,
You have to take into account,
That certain features are lost,
While things like rolls,
And how high the head sits,
Can be challenging.
Yeah that's so true.
The most black characters I've seen,
Appear in an anime was on,
Code Geass which has like,
Two black women but they are,
Kinda on the pale side.

Hmm,
You mean like,
Facially?
Or physical detail?

Well that all depends,
Most of my chubby characters,
I put big cheeks,
Usually exaggerated eyes,
And thick lips.
Plus at times I use,
Real life references.

Mhm, I guess I´d better get into the swing of drawing chubby characters, but I´m starting on two fellers that I don´t have to create myself, Tweedle-dum and Tweedle-dee XD
I´m re-reading "Alice in wonderland" It´s eerier than I remember it being...

Yeah that's true,
A lot of Disney tales,
Are actually quite morbid,
But not as morbid,
As the originals they were taken from.

Of course not. Like in Cindarella, at the end the sisters are blinded and their mother chopps off bits of their feet so the slippers fit .evillaugh:
