Michelle is the protagonist of booker's comic 'Skin Deep'. Your ordinary college freshman, until she comes into posession of an antique medallion one day, and *poof* she wakes up the next day as a creature of myth that even the mythical creatures themselves consider only legend! Of course, she's not alone -- turns out her college roommate and friends are mythic creatures of their own.

I have a real strong love-hate relationship with the TF genre. I don't know how I stumbled onto booker's comic in the first place but I actually came out liking it. Sure, I did have few nits and gripes (some more vocal than others) here and there, but overall? Not bad. Not bad at all. It has many things in common with the plot bunnies that have been roaming about my head for years....

It's also amazing that booker continues to update her comic with a new page each week. I could never do close to that....

9x12" of ink and Prismacolor pencils, three or so hours (badly delayed over two months). I hate the winter slumps....
