I love it. Saarcophagus is one of my favourites and somehow, even in such short strips, you manage to capture the voices of the characters.

Pfft! I knew that the minute he laid eyes on her in her intro episode that he'd fall for her. And he wasted two years mourning his ex chicky boo, who by all accounts was married to someone else and using him as a BOYTOY!

If it meant getting kissed by Avon, I'd happily rent out my brain. Man put me through puberty.

Ah, it was amazing! I was hooked from the opening credits onwards! Just goes to show, you can introduce just about anyone to it, when my Dad came home one day with this boxset clutched in his hands, I dismissed it as another "corny old TV show." Against my so called "better judgement", I sat down and watched this programme. At the end, I said, "Oh that was rubbish! Can we watch the next episode?".
Yep, so from then on, plus the fact that it is a cult British tevevision programme is another reason I feel attatched to it, I was mad on this "Blake's 7"!
It's different from all the other old sci fi stuff like Star Trek and Buck Rodgers, purely because these people are real. They have issues, they argue, they fight, they die. That's why, no matter how bad the sets, environments and props are, it seems that these people really DO fear for their lives sometimes, they really DO hate each other, and that's good enough for me! I wasn't even AROUND back then!
Finally...there's someone to talk about it with after all these years! I love all your other stuff too, especially "We Three", I like how it's coming on!

It's so nice to meet someone who understands what I mean! Most people can't see past the effects in this day and age of SFX and CGI...they miss the whole point of a good story...
Awww...poor you! *pats you on the head.* It is nice to see that Blake's 7 is a slice of my country's heritage really...I know Doctor Who is a lot more famous, but I think Blake's 7 is far darker and sinister, some episode are very near the bone!
There are a few fanclubs in the States isn't there? I read about one in Texas, surprisingly!
Don't worry, I like to ramble on too! Plus, you're one of the only...wait...the ONLY person I know of who has seen AND likes Blake's 7! I'm going to watch episode...2 or 3 tonight...I'm one ahead of my family, I couldn't resist watching another episode!
I'm sort of dreading Series Four...I know what happens in the end...but this is a TV show where the good guys don't win, and they can't. A small band of mis-matched freedom fighters can't do it in real life either, and THAT'S what makes the series, I think.
I really can't wait until you finish that picture! I wish I had all that snazzy digital colouring stuff, but I'm stuck with MS Paint and a freebie from the 'net!

Re: SFX and CGI, I couldn't agree with you more! I find that people put too much emphasis on SFX these days and care less about good stories and character development. I care much more about something with substance rather than flashy CGI.
As for Series Four... Yeah. To be honest, I'm not really a fan of Series Four. The only episodes I like are "Orbit" and "Blake." Besides that, I'm bitter about what they did to one of the characters (I won't spoil it if you don't know what happens!). But it's a shame that you know how the series ends! It was such a HUGE shock to me when I saw it for the first time. Still, hearing about it is one thing, and seeing is another... It's very sad and tragic, but definitely the way to go to end out Series Four. I love it that they actually had the balls to end it the way they did. I couldn't see it ending any other way, to be honest.

Yeah, it was the best way to finish it off without having it run on and on and on and on like Stargate and X-Files, and without it being cancelled, missing a real ending!
You're right, I know what happens, but not in detail, like who goes first or where they are...I think it was an accident, I reckon I read a little bit too far on the episode guides! Though every episode I am watching in Series Three is brand new to me, which is pretty cool...I'd rather prolong watching the episodes actually, because once it's gone, it's gone, and you can't watch it for the first time ever again...
CGI...take Star Wars Episode III : Revenge of the Sith for example, the plotline is shaky, the script really is a bit useless, but it still gets amazing crits and ratings...why? The damned special effects...the battle at the end...people are even beginning to forget about the old Star Wars movies, so Blake's 7 is WAY down low on the popularity scale with people of my age especially, who have grown up with all these realistic effects in movies where the storytelling is lost...
