"Wingboners" was first thought up in S1E21 Over a Barrel, during Pinkie Pie's performance.
Let's just say that due to an animation error, Rainbow Dash had her wings up after seeing Pinkie in that outfit.

believe it or not u can kinda see "incoming wingboner" after Pinkie Pie's Evil Enchantress dance at the beginning of Bridle Gossip. Look real close at RD's wings as soon as pinkies done.... you'll never unsee i swear

we just revived the idea of it. the concept existed long b4 MLP came up. Harvey Birdman literally had one in one of his episodes.
