I actually did this last week, but wanted to post it here. This is a drawing of my parents. It was admittedly a bit of a rush job (I was sleepy cuz I work nights and hadn't slept yet, but I really REALLY wanted to draw this) and of course I'm spotting plenty of 'needs improvement' areas, but I like it. I tried really hard to show a good depiction of Mom, who's nearly always smiling (curly hair clipped back and a smile that always reaches her eyes) and Dad, who looks like he walked out of a biker gang but is actually a big softie and a goober.

These people are such a huge part of who I am today (along with Mawmaw and Pawpaw of course) so when Mom asked me to draw her how I see her, I was happy to. And how excited she got when I showed her made me feel super happy. ^^

I don't have a scanner, so this was taken with my phone camera.
