About time I uploaded individual full body refs for my lions.

This is Bones. I adopted Bones from longtailsally as they didn't use him anymore and said I could have him to keep as a mate to Violet.

Bones is a logical and intelligent lion. He is logical in stressful situations and is greatly looked up to as king of his pride. While he is king, it is Violet who is the main leader of the pride, being of royal blood. For most of his life, Bones was a rogue. He had a gentle heart and a love for nature around him. He jumped from pride to pride. Each time he found a new pride, he was kicked out for some reason unknown to him. When he came across Violet's pride, he fell in love with the young princess at first sight. The two fell in love and had three cubs together. He was always a nurturing father and would teach his cubs the ways of the world. He was the voice of reason when the unthinkable happened.
His first born cub was killed. His eldest daughter had raised a cub of her own to weaning age when it happened. Out on a hunt one day, Bones' daughter was jumped by a rogue lion. She fought as best she could, but to no avail. The rogue lion bested her and swiftly killed her. It was during a drought and many prey animals had been decimated, leading some rogues to resort to cannibalism. At the time she was killed by the rogue, she had strayed too far away from her hunting party. Not too long after the kill and the rogue had his fill, a lioness from the hunting party came across the carcass of the princess, Violet and Bones' beloved daughter. With a heavy heart, she went back to her queen and king and reported the news. Bones couldn't believe his ears. He was in shock and it took him time to fully come to terms with the loss.
Not long after the death, Violet gathered her most trusted lionesses and tracked down the rogue. Bones tried to plead with her not to get this lions blood on her paws. It wasn't worth the torture. He was devastated as well, but he was being more rational in his thinking as was typical of him. Seeing that he would not change her mind, he backed down reluctantly.
For a few days after Violet's successful revenge, she largely kept to herself. Bones and her other two grown cubs being able to do little to comfort her though they were saddened by the loss as well. They took over leadership until Violet was ready to take her role back. Bones did all he could to try and comfort his mate, but it was in vain. She would often snap at him for no apparent reason. He knew it was her way of trying to process the grief. He was still trying to come to terms with the whole ordeal as well.
A few weeks after their daughter's passing, the rains came back to the lands, bringing back the prey and making the lands green and lush again. This brought hope to Violet who would often look to the sky and see what she thought was her daughter looking back at her from among the clouds. Bones would stand beside her, a paw wrapped around her shoulder as the two gazed up at the clouds. Little did Violet know that Bones could see their daughter in the clouds as well. She had joined the great kings and queens of the past.
When Violet decided to adopt Kijivu, Bones didn't object. He was happy to have part of his daughter still with him. He would often spoil the little cub. He tried to make Violet ease up on her protectiveness as Kijivu got older, but she was not having it. He would often sneak the cub away from her grandmother when Violet was busy with pride diplomacy matters. He would take her to explore the land, but would always be sure to keep a watchful eye on her. Violet didn't learn about their little adventures until Kijivu was nearly grown. She was upset with her mate, but she couldn't deny that the two of them had raised an amazing grandcub.
