Personality Then: Although she lacks her sight in both eyes, Panahedan remains a curious, adventurous little thing. Her brother, Yvennal, often talks to her in secret about the horrors that have become of their society with King Rafe at its head. He traitorously whispers of running away to follow their old king, their true king, if only they knew of someone to lead them there. His enthusiasm becomes hers and she secretly longs to join the true king.
Personality Now: With her father and dear Yvennal both gone from one hideous battle, Panahedan shudders at the thought of staying with the main herd. Not once has she ever admitted such a fact to anyone, but it only refirms the thoughts Yvennal put in her head. The old king may be dead but haven still stands and this King Rafe has gotten her family killed over some war that could have been left alone. Feeling alone amongst her herdmates, she secretly longs for a way to fulfill those whispered ideals from Yvennal and find her way to haven. However, she realizes such a task would not be easy or very likely accomplished, and so it remains to be the dream of a child just out of reach.
Appearance: Short and slim.
History: Panahedan was born to a guard and his mate, one of two twins. Her twin did not make it through the birth and neither did her mother, leaving her father and older brother to find a wetnurse. While they accomplished this and the blind filly was successfully weaned, her father grew increasingly distant. He blamed his daughter for the death of his mate. Yvennal, six years her senior, took over the role as parent, brother, and best friend. Though he was not her only friend. Another stag by the name of Kolfinn gained her trust from an early, early age. Not just her trust, but her friendship that was not given out lightly. The two siblings were thick as theives and he shared everything with her, no matter how the rest of the herd would have perceived it if she had blabbed. While Yvennal did not approve of Rafe as the new king, he remained a member of the guard to protect the herd as a whole, but whispered conspiracies to Panahedan in the night. Not once did either of them share these words with anyone but each other. Years passed before the battle of haven, where her father and brother went off together, with her brother having ideas to stick up for haven in the fight. Neither returned home and the news devestated Panahedan, who longed to live out her brother's dreams for him, but fear kept her silent. Silent to everyone except Kolfinn if he were to come to her, or if she were to find him. But alas, her trusted friend was away at haven, the one place where she wanted to be.
