This is really old, but there is something about it I still have affection for.

Her name is Sayuri, and she is from a story I was/am writing about a girl with repressed feelings on being Japanese and German American. Contrary to some people's opinions, it really isn't about ME, per say, but an ideal that I struggle with and that I wanted to write about to get off my back.
