Behold what happens when two people discuss Ninjago and the Nutcracker over the Internet. Pretty self explanatory, actually!

This little AU/ fanfic thingy was put together by TheKittenKat and myself. Basically, the Land of Sweets is another world/realm place where people in Nelson and Cole’s world can visit through their dreams, although it only seems to accept those who are in a particularly bad emotional state. There they can relax and find relief in the sweet and gentle... but they must take care to not spend too much time there, lest their true bodies perish in the real world. Here’s a brief summery of the plot and characters (that may change as we develop the idea?)

Once upon a time, there was...

- A fairly odd godmother, who seems to know a lot but doesn’t talk about it much until the time is right.

- A father Ginger named Dareth, his beautiful disciple Bon-Bon children, and kindly Rockcandy Warriors, who were once bested by Dareth in honorable combat and now protect his family more efficiently while following his teachings.

- A Licorice named Scales Junior who’s set on saving the Land of Sweets along with the strange travelers who entered his home swamp territory. Hopefully he can save it before his parents find out where he’s gone off to!

- A dried prune named Clouse and a Peachbun named Chen, who, after getting kicked out of the Hot-drink lava planes, sided with the insidious Toymaker and now are governing the Peppermint/Snow mountains with a cruel, sticky grip! The only Sweets opposing them is a small resistance headed by (peach flavored) Marzipan Skylor, Jawbreaker Karloff, and the Cheesecake Postman.

- An army of toy/mouse soldiers headed by the duo generals, second only to the Toymaker herself, King Morro and Queen Harumi. Not all that long ago, Harumi and Morro were simple kids with messy living situations. They both found solace in this land made of sweets and both wished they could stay there with their new teachers and friends forever. When their masters told them gently that it could not be, Morro when in search while Harumi rejected their advise in her own quiet way. Then Garmadon disappeared, which was her final straw. She soon found Morro had made a deal with the Toymaker to gain a toy/mouse body to hold his soul, allowing him 24 hour access to the Land of Sweets. Harumi followed suit and now they carry out their mistress’s will and ravageing the Land of Sweets. However one good heart can spur another to kindness, and the efforts of a new Visitor, an old foe, and all of their friends, begin to weigh on the royal rodents’ minds...

- The Toymaker: no one knows where she first came from, and when, who’s to know? All anyone knows is that she is single mindedly focused on bringing the Land of Sweets under her cold, unfeeling rule. She can trap the spirits of Visitors in her toys and, to a certain extent, puppet them around like dolls. With every soul, she grows in power, and she is now so strong that she can block powerful Visitors, like Mystaké, from entering. However, she didn’t bet on the ol’ bird having a godson with a heart of gold.
