Yes xD I'm very new at editing and such so that's why the video quality is kinda messed up. Don't mind the dubstep, it's the only free music I could find XD
Anyways, I needed a break from commissions and I doodled this. I tried to practice my cell shading and I think I've improved! I just don't think the facial expression looks mean enough.... whoops lol.

This looks awesome! You've already been given solid advice on making him look meaner, but I thought I'd chime in anyway. Me personally, it's the brows. Make the brows slantier, kinda like this emoticon >

If you want to make it look meaner, I suggest you make the 'fold' at the end of the mouth more downturn. I've found that when it's upturned, the brain immediately assumes that it's something along the lines of a smile. The mouth is generally upturned into a mile as well, so you may want to downturn it a little as well (but not too much unless you want a grumpy-cat look). Ā Ā
Similar to the mouth, the eyes look joyful. Though you can't see the pupils very well, you may want to make them smaller and point the 'eyebrows' down a little more. You can also make the ears go flat against the head.
Using these tricks have helped me in the past and present. The things on my deviantart page are sadly about 2% of what I actually doodle/art and aren't the best representation of what I just told you. But anyways... I'm not very good at ending internet drawing advice.

Your welcome! I just noticed that you said you were having some trouble and I sometimes have the same problem, but I've always have had to search it up/try it myself and it often doesn't work. I just want to help others from going through they same trouble as I do.
