the guys at my zoo dont do anything like that LOL they look very uncomfortable tho, pacing around.. I luv them whenever I visit tho.

I think coyotes are interesting. I can't say that I love them though. I grew up in rural South Dakota on the border with North Dakota. Coyotes are not cute an cuddly. I don't mind them as long as they stay away from the livestock. If they attack the livestock, its my opinion that they are fair game.
Before anyone gets after me let me explain. Farmers where I live are NOT rich. Sheep are hard enough to keep alive as it is without losing more to coyotes. My uncle depends on his sheep to bring in income for wool and selling yearlings.
But i AM against outright slaughter.

I agree that farmers have a right to protect their livestock. My grandparents were farmers and they didn't o out into the forests to kill any wolf/coyote they saw. I think it's the same as tigers, it a tiger is stalking a village with cattle, you have to get rid of it.
