Even if you haven't read the books you can enjoy the scene this is illustrating as CC was kind enough to publish a little one shot on her website for our enjoyment [link] Even if you just enjoy yaoi, enjoy Alec being one of the most adorable ukes I have ever seen in my life. Honest this woman is now right up there with my idols for her ability to write compelling ANYTHING.
Decided to keep it simple with this piece, I wasn't going to leave it purple but it's Magnus, he wears rainbow pants and he wears purple at the end of City of Glass I believe so he can be in purple, with glittery eye shadow cause he totally sleeps in it. Love him so much 8D

[Magnus] was dressed like a victorian gentleman, in a long black frock coat over a violet silk vest. A square hankerchief embroidered with the initials M.B. protruded from his vest pocket.
"Nice vest," said Alec with a smile.
"Would you like one exactly like it " Magnus inquired. "In any colour you prefer, of course."
"I don't really care about clothes," Alec protested.
"And I love that about you," Magnus announced, "though I would also love you if you owned, perhaps, one designer suit. What do you say? Dolce? Zegna? Armani?"

I'm the kind of person who just goes for chemistry--yuri, yaoi, or straight, I don't care. As long as I can feel the attraction and love, then it's golden. That being said, these two are seriously one of the only reasons I read the books--I also add Isabelle and Simon to the list because they are awesome, though the last book seemed a bit too planned with their romance, but I still love them.
I've always known these two would end up, ever since the first book, and I really love the picture--the purple makes it so stricking, and I knew instantly where you got the pose from!
