The Sun, The Moon and The StarsEdit 7/9/11: Omg I wonderred where the flood was coming from. Cassandra tweeted this?!! So much happy right now. I love that woman.
These are Sebastian, Clary and Jace and I can't go on and on about the reasons that I love them without subjecting you to spoilers and really I wouldn't dare. This series, Mortal Instruments, comprise of City of Bones, City of Ashes and City of Glass (most recently continued with a second trilogy with the first of three, City of Fallen Angels, published, which I haven't yet read so STFU) by Cassandra Clare is soooo worth reading. Honest I couldn't put them down and really there is sooo much fanart I wanna do for this series right now. It does not have enough love D: Not enough AT ALL
It features romance, bromance, action (awesome action of both kinds), magic swords, vampires (of the non-sparkling variety), werewolves, fae and warlocks in rainbow pants making out with deliciously repressed boys 8D Oh Magnus <3
But yeah...again I can't really say anything about what I'm trying to implying or how you might interpret this picture without giving out epic spoilers that were so awesome to read I might just wipe my mind to read them again.

This is just gorgeous, and so accurately portrays the relationship dynamics between the trio. Just in the subtlest details: Jace has Clary's hand close to his heart, he's not pulling at her, he's holding her, but Sebastian is pulling her arm out, away fm him, like he's pulling her away as though she's his property. Just from the way she's standing you get the sense that she wants to stay close to Jace but is being pulled towards Sebastian and she can't do anything about it. Seriously, I love this.

I just bought the first book in this series and I haven't begun reading yet. Instead I came onto her, DeviantArt, in hopes of getting an idea of what the characters all look like. Thankfully the few pictures I've seen so far haven't included any spoilers. With each piece I've seen, I'm getting more and more excited to read this book, and eventually, the entire extended series.Β

This is just too beautiful!!! I love how you drew all three of them, Clary is so pretty! I used to like Sebastian so much, he seemed so nice and funny, but I like how he looks so badass. Jace is so fierce and protective of Clary, I love Clace so much! Cannot wait till the 6th book!!

I love this series (tempered with a dose of "I should really stop reading this, but I can't because I'm too curious and love the supporting characters too much." every now and again). Β I'll never forgive Valentine for his treachery and lies, and mind fucks that he pulled on just about everybody. Β And I mean, I hate Jace, but I hate Jonathan Christopher (aka Sebastian) more because he is the younger image of their father.

What goes on here??!! I've only read the first book, saw the movie today. The movie was very true to the book. I'd recommend it to any Mortal Instruments die hard fans lol But I haven't been able to get into City of Ashes, sadly

I think my favourite character is Johnathan, but only when he's being charismatic, like Sebastian and in Paris. I love this picture, but I will say that Johnathan's hair could be a bit paler.
