This little beauty is from The Secret of Kells, something I've been following for a long time now and only recently got off Amazon.I like how it's edgy characters all seem to have full range of motion and beautiful flowing lines. Very artistic.

I tried to encorporate some essence of the movie while giving the character my own twist. The shape of the eyes and the biig boots is very remaniscent of my old style, the one I used back when I started the Animated Heroine Patches Project.
Originally her hair was going to be very flowy, as it is in the film but then I wanted it to curl and then I made it a bit boxy to hint at Celtic knots.

I'd seen a trailer for this film ages ago and thought it looked amazing but couldn't for the life of me remember what it was called so I figured I'd just never find it again, so when I recognised the film from the clip you linked to, it really made my day. I'm totally going to get this film.
