Yes! Case in point, 'Sharuru', Wendy's Exceed. Saying it in Japanese is easy enough, reading it in it's katakana form just as easy, but writing it down as English and saying it are a pain in the ass. I dunno if it's Charles, Carla, Charle, Charlotte, etc. and saying it is a whole new kettle of fish >.<
