Recycled brown paper, its quite easy to get from art shops in sketchbook form.

what is the white opaque making up the outline?

That is a chinese white Derwent Drawing pencil. I used it to mark the image out, but I don't recommend using it as inking over it was a pain. The white showed through the lines.

It doesnt seem colourful enought to be hippy like to me. THe drawing is really good though, needs more sceneic background though.

Thankyou! I wasn't really going for that colourful far out effect though. Its pretty hard to do on brown recycled paper with a grey, black and white pens.
