Here are a few prep drawings for my Charming Lady Lettuce painting. The original idea was to have a slug and snail as a couple. They were going to be an elderly couple, being slow and all. I was really sad to loose the older slug character to the much more charming and younger version, I think e's really cute! As for the snail with the legs at the bottom of the page- well...I think they look rather good on him.Related content

you have a good drawing skill. you should use drawing/ pencil/ ink more...I like this work (especially MADAME SNAIL)....

These are just too keen! So very, very Victorian fairy-tale-ish. What an awesome job translating the shapes into human forms! Too many exclamation points!!! (And Snail-With-Legs is my new hero.)
