Description
Like Skalor and Overbite, I also have the original Nautilator toy to work from as a reference.
But I decided to tweak his robot form in almost the same manner as I did Overbite.

Oh yeah, and I made Nautliator a fembot too.

When I did my pics of G1 Predacon Rampage,

I made them both fembots just because.....
I thought that the "fembot" idea just lent itself nicley to these 2 particular characters.

When I started doing the Seacons, I had always intended to make at least 1 of them as a fembot too.
But was going to be Tentakil not Nautilator, who would be getting the gynoid treatment.
(I still intend to make Tentakil female too though).

I had really liked that lobster antenna "mustache" that his beast mode had.
Before the fembot idea came in,
it was my original intention to turn those antenna into a "real" mustache in his robot form
'ala the fumanchu style as seen on other fictional characters like:
David Lo Pan, Ming the Merciless, and......well....Fu Manchu.
(a lot of background characters in ATLA also have this stache'-style).
I think that would have turned out pretty intresting.....

BUT,

I decided to go with the fembot idea
for no other reason than because
I couldn't think of what else to do with those "lobster legs" in robo-form, and made them into "long hair".
I've always really hated how on this character's toy, his lobster legs just stick out the back.
(oddly enough, they still sort of do in my pic here anyway.....go figure).

I turned those legs into long robot "hair", the scrapped the antenna mustache idea in favor of long front "locks of hair".
Now I suppose that I didn't really have to do a sex change to go with this long-hair look.
If anything, they would look like dreadlocks, and maybe he'd talk like a stereotypical Jamaican.
In the end, I suppose it's kind of dreadlock looking anyway.
I tried to give her kind of an Aku "hairstyle"
(look him up kids).

Hey! maybe HASBRO will start a line of robot fashion dolls with posable hair like this.

Like Overbite, Nautilator's front beast limbs on the toy are removable.....
but totally wasted in robot form in that they are totally unused.
I just flipped a few things around
(insert operation jokes here)
and came up with this.

The Seacons have never really been one of my favorite teams,
but when I heard that they were being re-released in a new set,
(which came out a few months ago...shows you how lazy I am)
I thought that I'd like take a crack at them.

Except for Snaptrap, I never liked the way ANY of their robot forms looked.
Dunno what it was....I just thought they were lame.
Their Beast Modes on the other hand were great looking,
and this was the only reason I had bought a few of these guys.

When I did pics of the Preadcons and the Dinobots here on DA,
(check my gallery please)
there were some comments asking about their alternate/beast modes which I never drew.
(I still may in the future, but I just haven't yet).
So I decided to draw both modes at the same time here.
