Lovely photo! It expresses a longing that I feel through every day of winter. People think we're lucky to have a "White Christmas". It is beautiful to see blankets of snow covering the Christmas lights, which our neighbors keep up until snow melts, but Spring doesn't arrive here until the beginning of June, leaving us only 2 weeks until Summer. The warmth of the leaves in this picture gives me a feeling of hope, though.

And i couldnΒ΄t agree more with you....it may be pretty...but itΒ΄s also kinda depressing having such long winters with such short days....when the sun wont even bother rising certain days. But hey...at least we get compensated during summer when the sun never sets instead.
