Okay, first of all I have to ask myself, 'Why haven't I Faved this yet?'. Second, I've never written an actual Critique before but wanted to give it a try because this work is so Amazing.
Let's start with the vision. This may sound strange coming from a straight guy, but when it comes to a girl/girl themed Art while I enjoy it having a sexy side (whether nudity is exposed or cleverly hidden), I'm not too keen on Art that's too strong and overly graphic. Which is why I really like this and all your LiaraxFemShep art, it's a pefect balance and is not too pornographic. Since Liara (along with Kaidan and Ashley) carry their relationships through all 3 games it's arguable that they are the strongest of the romance options (my personal favourite Romance for FemShep is Garrus, but that's not really relevant to this Critique) and I think you've been able to capture that perfectly visually.
What really wins me over is the body language. Although I haven't done a Liara Romance playthrough personally, watching clips I can tell that they have real chemistry and intimacy between them, which is something you've been able to illustrate spot on. I doubt there are many who could pin Femshep, but that just helps to emphasise their desire for eachother, and how Femshep just surrenders herself to Liara which I find both heartwarming and steamy (and it's all the more realised by how Shep still has a few of her clothes on that are still in the 'removal stage' and honestly, i think it works much better than if she'd been nude altogether).
I'm afraid I do have to make a star deduction for Originality just because - and let me just asure that I say this not as a criticism, just as a statement - seeing Liara and Femshep together is nothing new. That being said, I don't believe i've seen them in this sort of pose (but that's something i've already talked about in the previous category).
On to Technique: I think the tone and shading for both skin and fabrics are spot on, and I certainly can't see anything wrong proprtion-wise. I love the way Sheps hair flows all over the place and the sheen is just the cherry on the cake. The only thing that keeps it from being 5/5 is that with the solid black background it just feels like it's missing something, I just wonder what it might've looked like if you could see traces of a wall surface in heavy shadows as opposed to utter blackness.
This certainly wins massive points for impact. Regardless of what I said about the solid background, the heavy shadow in the work as a whole really makes the actually stars of this Art stand out. I don't think I could say much more about the Impact without repeating pretty much eveything I said in the Vision section of this Critique.
Overall verdict: Beautiful and Sexy and at the same time Tasteful and Intimate. One of best FemShepxLiara artworks that captures the essence of their Romance perfectly.

Being a tough-ass woman myself i truly can appreciate how it feels to have to be responsible for so much and just want someone to let go of all that with, even if just for a few moments now and again. In this picture you have perfectly captured the incredibly tasteful let go and give in to the only emotion more powerful than fight or flight, and that is love. It really is a very well done piece. It conveys want in so many ways: Liara's want to be with Shepard, Shepard's want to just feel trusted, believed, and loved. It a tender moment gone a bit steamy, but not in a pornographic way. Bravo.
Onto the art itself: its incredibly well done, the way the sheet drapes and wrinkles around Liara and Shep, the outline of Liara's bum and thigh under that sheet are damn near perfect anatomically although hidden, and the way they were positioned gives us this little hint of exactly how steamy this moment is becoming, as Liara is shirtless and i'm sure our commander will be as well in no time. The lines are soft and the colors perfect: Liara is the correct blue, with juuust the right amount of purple in her cheeks and nose (as she is flushed from the heat of the moment. Shep's N7 logo is perfectly faded for a well loved comfy sleep t-shirt.
Overall: Wicked Awesome piece of art, sexy and tasteful, truly this picture speaks a thousand words of relief, of want, of thanks, and most of all, of love.

This art is just amazing. It's purely romantic; not pornographic which I don't like to see. This expresses their surrender to love amidst all the chaos that otherwise consumes their lives. And I like how Liara takes the initiative here. All other times Liara is submissive and reserved while Shepard has to be the opposite as a commander, spectre, and savior of the galaxy. But here the roles are reversed because of the bond they share.
There's something special about their relationship to me. Since ME1 Liara has intrigued me and I've never been able to turn her down or romance anyone else. It just feels "right." I think Liara is the most worthy of Shepard's love. She offers everything to Shepard; her friendship, her trust, her respect, her assistance, her empathy, her sympathy, her praise, her own welfare in trying to protect Shepard's corpse, and her love if Shepard wants it. She even is willing to wait for Shepard if Shepard finds someone else because she feels Shepard deserves to be happy. What other ME character does that?
While most of the crew at some point recite the "it's an honor serving with you" line, Liara's respect and concern comes from the heart.
"We may not say it so plainly but we're proud to be here, Shepard. And proud of you."
"Thank you for everything." (she says this up to 4 times)
"I hope the galaxy proves itself worthy of the effort you're putting into saving it."
"We finally have other leaders on our side but none will take us as far as you can."
"You succeed at odds most would never even take on. It's no wonder everyone wants you on their side. But I know it wears on you."
"You're alive again. I've got everything I want."

Okay I gotta leave a comment on this AMAZING piece.
First, I have to start by saying I disagree with another comment on here that said it looks like a normal couple that looks like they don't have to worry about the reapers, etc. I disagree with the sentiment because I think the emotion you conveyed in this really captured all of their worries and troubles, but they surrendered to each other in the moment. And that is a beautiful thing.
Another beautifully poignant aspect of this piece is the juxtaposition between the two of them. Shepard is normally the one in complete control, always in a position of power, etc., but what makes the piece lovely and unique is that she is giving herself willingly to Liara. I actually think this is what their relationship would be like. It seems like a woman who has to be in complete control of every little thing in her life would want freedom with the one person she unconditionally loves and trusts. It takes the true beauty of their relationship to a whole new level. And you achieved that level. This is simply put: an incredibly beautiful piece of art. It captures such beautiful emotion. Filled with a longing, a need. I could go on but it just occurred to me that this review is getting wordy lol. So I'll finish by saying, very well done.

I'm not sure I can put into words WHY I like this picture. But I really do. Not too sexual, but you still see enough to be happy. And It's a good way to represent Shepard and Liara's relationship.
I just don't know... but fuck it, it's a damn good picture. Kudos, my friend.
