"Willowstripe! Wait up!" Greenbulk loudly meowed, scampering after his younger sister. The green-furred kit glanced around the thick forest with a nervous expression on his round face. Maybe coming into the forest wasn't such a good idea...

"Hurry up, Greenbulk!" The little green and gray tabby bounded over to her brother and bounced around him in an excited manner. "I wanna go find the wildcats!"

Her brother gave her a stern glare. "Willowstripe, remember what mom told us. Clan cats are can be dangerous. Remember the stories about BloodClan?"

Willowstripe just let out a meow of laughters and began to play with a leave, tossing it up into the air and then catching it in her clumsy paws. "That was only BloodClan! Our father wasn't BloodClan at all! He was a WaterClan cat!" She let out a whoop and tossed herself into a cluster of grass.

"That's RiverClan, Willowstripe." Greenbulk corrected though he knew his younger sister wouldn't listen. She was too busy playing around. "Listen, we need to get back. Mom and Uncle Patches will be worried and we'll get into trouble!"

"Did someone mention Patches?" meowed a deep voice. Both Greenbulk and Willowstripe froze in shock when a giant, green cat slowly padded forward from the bushes. Willowstripe let out a squeal of terror and jumped behind her brother.

"Don't come any closer!" Greenbulk meowed, trying to sound furious as the large wildcat padded closer and closer to the two siblings. Even though he knew he stood no chance against a clan cat, Greenbulk wouldn't let the large tom hurt his sister.

The wildcat paused and blinked down at the two kits. An expression of confusion, then realization, and last, wonderful joy spread across his face.

"Is your mother's name Tulip?" The green Clan cat meowed. There was a trace of excitement in his voice.

"Yes!" Piped up Willowstripe, poking her head from behind Greenbulk.

"Shut up!" Greenbulk snapped, swatting his tail over his sister's mouth. "We can't trust him! He's a stranger."

Willowstripe ignored her brother and gazed up at the giant clan cat, blue eyes shining with excitement and admiration. Her gaze swept across the clan cat's pelt and a gasp escaped her throat.

"No, Greenbulk, he's not a stranger." Eyes gleaming, she directed her brother's gaze to the clan cat's shoulders. Two white star markings covered them- the same ones that her brother had.

The clan cat knelt down in front of the two kits and gazed at them with blue eyes filled with warmth.

"Do you two know who I am?" Bulkhead asked. A deep purr rumbled in his throat as Greenbulk warily approached with violet eyes wide.

"Father?"
