Description
As of April 7th, 2013, Bullet is retired from showing. She'll live out her days at Tamarack Park as a broodmare and a leisure mount.This was Bullet's first reference image; now that she's retired, she's got a new one, but I love this one too much to let it go completely.

After she's been clipped (a process which takes about five hours thanks to all the shaggy winter hair she inherited from her sire), Bullet looks pretty good! We left the feathers on her legs, but trimmed her tail and pulled her mane. She'll be blanketed through the winter.
Also, note that only Bullet and her parents are fictional; her dun and appaloosa genes come from the Gypsy side because they don't exist in real American Saddlebreds.

I really am terrible, I sit here planning my horses (that frankly dont even exist yet >>) and their future breedings, then those foals' future breedings... ugg.

Im working on a GG mare right now, she most likely is going to be a chestnut, not sure yet though, then I will get my 2 stallies donee!!

Haha I used to do that all the time when I roleplayed horses on ProBoards forums... holy crap, I'd get so excited about a future breeding and then the other player would go all inactive and quit replying to threads. So sad. D:

Aww, thank you! Luckily, she doesn't have to be bred to another GG to make a GG foal. An American Saddlebred, Friesian, or any type of draft breed would do.

Thanks! That's one of the hardest parts for me. It's like, how much expression can you really put into a horse's face (with my level of ability) without making it look too cartoony? Glad I'm doin' it right!

Oh, for me I'm just getting the hang of drawing horses digitally, cause I cannot overline my sketches for crap. I get frustrated so easily with it! And usually end up using my sketches for the actual lining
